From 9 Months To 4 Years Old

Our Nursery offers funding sessions for eligible parents and families for children aged from 9 months to 4 year old.

Funding Changes From April 2024
2 Year Old Funding
  • 2 year old funding is available for families receiving some form of support.
  • 15 hours childcare is offered over 38 weeks of the year or can be spread over the full year.
3 & 4 Year Old Funding - 15 Hours
  • All children are eligible for 15 hours funding, the term following their 3rd birthday.
  • 15 hours is offered over 38 weeks of the year or can be spread over the full year for working families in England.
3 & 4 Year Old Funding - 30 Hours
  • 30 hours childcare is provided for parents that are eligible, the term following their child's 3rd birthday.
  • 30 hours is offered over 38 weeks of the year or can be spread over the full year. 

Funded Childcare – 15 & 30 Hours

15 Hours Funding

  • Eligible working families can also access 15 hours of funding for children aged 9 months to 2 years, starting from the term after they turn 9 months old.
  • All 3 & 4-year-olds are entitled to 15 hours of funded childcare from the term after their 3rd birthday.

30 Hours Funding

  • From September 2025, 30-hour funding will be available for eligible working parents of children from 9 months old, starting from the term after they turn 9 months.
  • From September 2025 Eligible working parents of 2-year-olds can also access 30 hours of funding
  • Working families with 3 & 4-year-olds may be eligible for 30 hours of funded childcare per week.

All-Year-Round Funding – No Term-Time Only Places

  • We are an all-year-round nursery and do not offer term-time only places.
  • All funded hours are stretched over 51 weeks, as we close for one week over Christmas and New Year. This allows families to evenly distribute their hours across the year, rather than being limited to school term dates.
